It started as a small video contest for 19 teams of students in Lehigh Valley, PA. Today, it is in 16 different regions across PA, in several different states and is on its way to becoming a national program in every state. We helped them Master Their Story and worked with them to build awareness. From a few stories in a local paper to more than 1,890 media clips, major magazine coverage and countless TV news interviews, their core message resonates across the states.
Several years ago, the manufacturing workforce in Pennsylvania realized in a few short years that over 65% of its workforce would be retiring. The boomers were retiring and with them, the talent to handle a large amount of manufacturing work. The team at MRC reached out to us and asked us to help spread the word about the new “cool” program aimed at middle school students called “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?”.
